Bonded Seal(Dowty Seal) is a washer used to seal around a bolt or screw. These seals are available in metric and inch dimension. Bonded Seal(Dowty Seal) consists of an outer annular ring of steel and an inner ring of elastomeric material. An inner ring of elastomeric material is known as a gasket. Dowty Seal acts as sealing discs which seal threads and flange joints. Bonded seals are high-pressure seal used in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical sectors. The metal washer in bonded seal prevents over compression and limits deformation of the elastomeric ring(gasket).
